Food

We are focused on food. The OAFB coordinates a number of food and acquisition distribution programs, from the provincial food distribution network to seasonal partner food drives, such as Metro Food Drives and Farm Credit Canada's Drive Away Hunger. Through these programs, we are able to distribute over seven million pounds of food across the province every year through 120 communities.
The OAFB acts as the coordinator for Ontario's food bank network, which includes four Distribution Centres and over ten major Hub warehouse operations across the province.

Support our annual campaign and join the tour of a farmers' market in your community early summer through late fall.
The Ontario Association of Food Banks' (OAFB) Milk Programme has proven to be very beneficial to food bank recipients in Ontario, especially children.
The OAFB and Metro began a partnership in 2009 to launch a new grocery store food drive for member food banks across the province.
Loblaws facilitates three seasonal food drives every year.
