Become a Partner

The OAFB has a strong group of core supporters who provide food, financial and other supports to ensure we are able to meet our aims. They include corporate partners, food donors, and like-minded organizations and caring people with a vested interest in ending hunger in Ontario. Partners giving over $10,000 per year are recognized as members of the OAFB's Orange Circle of donors.

Our corporate partners provide us with the opportunity to reach people throughout their lives, and to engage wider audiences in our work to end hunger. When a company or organization grants, sponsors or donates toward the OAFB's mission, campaigns or programs, they have the opportunity to make a positive impact while involving employees and consumers in helping Ontario's food banks and the 320,000 people forced to turn to them each month in over 100 communities in our network.

Today Ontarians believe it is very important for companies to be socially responsible. Consumers strongly support food banks and companies that support them.

The OAFB welcomes the opportunity to develop new partnerships with Ontario based companies, agri-producers, and their associations. If you would like to partner with the OAFB and our members, please contact the home office at 414-656-4100 or toll free at 1-866-220-4022.

The wide range of partners supporting the OAFB and our members are described as follows:

Food industry leaders. Our organization receives significant support from food industry leaders including agriculture and producer groups, the grocery industry and its representatives, as well as participation among processors, manufacturers and distributors, and the restaurant industry.

Decision-makers and opinion shapers. In order to build dialogue that will lead to action, key decision-makers and opinion shapers take part in our organization, including provincial and federal politicians, policy-makers, think-tank representatives, academics, and media representatives.

Community leaders. Other community leaders are engaged in our association, including corporate executives in the financial services sector, university and college executive and administrators, student organizations, organized labour representatives, faith community representatives, noted municipal politicians, and other local public and community service leaders.
