The OAFB was nominated as part of the Great Grant Awards presented by The Ontario Trillium Foundation among forty-five potential grantees for establishing our food bank provincial distribution network between 2005 - 2008.

Imagine Canada Canadian Business and Community Partnership Award Winner, 2008
Established in 1996, these Awards recognize and celebrate outstanding partnerships between small or large businesses and nonprofit organizations that are finding innovative ways to support Canadian communities.

Certificate of Recognition by the Chief Energy Conservation Officer of Ontario in 2008
The OAFB was given this award alongside Friends of the Earth Canada, Enbridge and Union Gas for developing and delivering the Energy Greenbox, a conservation innovation that contributes to a culture of conservation in Ontario.
